As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and coordinating patient care. The ideal candidate should be friendly, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced dental office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage patient appointments and schedule follow-up visits
- Greet and check-in patients in a warm and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance billing
- Collect patient payments and handle financial transactions
- Maintain patient records and update patient information as needed
- Assist with treatment coordination and patient referrals
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a dental setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented mindset and ability to handle patient concerns with empathy
- Knowledge of dental insurances and billing processes is a plus
