Job Description: At ACT1, our people make the difference. As a Senior Cost and Pricing Analyst, supporting F-35 Joint Program Office, you will be trusted to review and analyze data to provide accurate forecasts of overall program performance to F-35 leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Developing, updating, administering, and performing cost analysis and estimating products for the F-35 Program Office.
- Supporting contract negotiations, to include, but not limited to, pricing, technical analysis, and documentation creation.
- Evaluating historical pricing data utilizing learning and quantity curves to forecast future pricing scenarios.
- Conducting fact finding to gain a thorough understanding of cost proposals and supporting pricing data.
- Analyzing RFP, RFI, BOE, and other sources for price analysis, business risk, and compliance.
- Supporting annual F-35 cost estimate process to support budget planning and execution, contract negotiations, and other program decision making.
- Performing rapid response “what if” drills on the impact of technical and programmatic changes to the F-35 Program.
- Collecting, normalizing, and analyzing cost, pricing, and programmatic data.
- Coordinating with technical teammates and contracting (cross-functional teams) to understand the technical and contract requirements and integrate that information into cost/pricing models and cost/pricing positions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or other related field.
- Six (6) years of cost estimating, cost analysis, or pricing experience, with three (3) of those years in relevant MDAP experience or other industry equivalent.
- Working knowledge of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFAR (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation), and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; primarily Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working Knowledge of Cost Estimating software or Monte Carlo simulation systems, such as CO$STAT, @RISK, or Crystal Ball.
- Demonstrated experience presenting to Flag Officers and Senior Civilians.
- In depth knowledge of statistical modeling to include learning curve theory, linear programming and linear regression.
- In depth knowledge of inflation and escalation theories.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and applying critical analysis to budgetary problems and developing alternative solutions
- SECRET Clearance is required
