The Global Digital Marketing Team reports to the Global Consumer Chief Marketing Officer who oversees Global Consumer Marketing (GCM). The GCM team works to enhance the Client brand, advocate for the consumer and drive business results through highly effective integrated marketing campaigns, communications and engagement built on customer insight.
Role Description:
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Forecasting and Budget Manager to work within our Global Digital Marketing Performance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a portfolio of clients to assist in: defining and implementing forecasting and budget management processes that align with client marketing and business objectives and requires high proficiency in organizational and communication skills to partner across markets and lines of business globally for GCM. The ideal candidate would have a background that includes finance and an understanding of digital marketing.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Forecasting Management
o Develop and maintain team level forecasts across all global digital marketing channels and functions with regional and line of business partners
o Calibrate forecast updates and management process to budget management process to ensure integrity of data and version control
o Draw business insights from forecasting approach that may contribute to team strategy
• Budget Management
o Maintain budget version control and updates on a daily basis calibrated across all digital marketing channels and functions
o Manage monthly invoice, payment and budget reconciliation process in partnership with GCM finance
o Implement and maintain effective budget QA and controls processes
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required, finance and/or marketing background preferred
• 3-5 years' work experience in marketing/finance related functions
• Work experience in Financial Services a plus
• Advanced Excel skills required
• High proficiency in Powerpoint and ability to translate Excel data into cleanly formatted slides for different levels of detail (exec vs. functional team) required
• Knowledge of, passion for and experience working in the data side of digital marketing
• Broad-based thinking about new and innovative ways that businesses can enhance existing processes and drawing insights from forecast and budget data
• Experience in working within large-scale, highly matrixed corporate environment
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing presentations
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects proactively
• Meticulous attention to detail, with an overall passion for continual improvement
• Innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Credible and articulate, with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
