SEARCH Group Partners, a premier recruiting firm, is looking for VP of Finance for one of our non-profit clients. We are representing Planned Parenthood Association of Utah (PPAU). Position is based in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a hybrid position, working in the office 3 days a week.

• Develop and implement all policies related to accounting, internal control, cash management, and related functions.
• Leads and directs department managers in the preparation of short- and long- range budgets and forecasts based on the agency’s goals and growth objectives and is responsible for the preparation of a consolidated budget.
• Monitors the adequacy and soundness of the agency’s financial structure and internal controls.
• Prepare all government funding applications and contracts, with assistance from other staff as needed. Ensures grant and/or government expenditure and reporting requirements are met on a timely basis. Prepares a wide range of financial and statistical reports as required by grantors, government agencies, PPFA and for internal use.
• Identifies and captures new revenue sources. Make recommendations for implementing cost reduction programs.
• Serve as staff liaison to the Budget & Finance Committee.
• Analyze and facilitate the understanding of financial information by the Management Team, the Budget & Finance Committee, and the Board of Directors.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred OR Equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of related experience with at least 5 years in a management position, and/or combination of comparable education and experience. Non-profit &/or healthcare experience highly desired.
• Significant experience in, or knowledge with, generally accepted accounting principles, A133 Uniform Guidance reporting, non-profit accounting, and compliance.
• Demonstrates ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Shows leadership and conflict resolution skills among people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.
