We are looking for a Director of Packaging to join our growing team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the production of packaging materials.
You must ensure that production goals for volumes, schedules, delivery, costs, and quality are met while adhering to company policies and safety standards.
Your duties will include monitoring production tracking to ensure compliance with schedules and shipping dates, managing equipment and facilities maintenance, controlling budgets and inventory, developing your team, and implementing Six Sigma continuous improvement methods.
You must have experience with vertical/horizontal form fill seal, blister packaging, flow wrapping, and working in many tracking environments.
In this role, you must develop and implement production plans aligning with customer demand and targets.
You will create production schedules that optimize resources, minimize downtime, and identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of packaging machinery and equipment and coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment breakdowns and ensure minimal production disruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should have a Bachelor's in Engineering.
At least 7-10 years of experience in packaging Engineering.
Must come from Manufacturing and Blister Packaging Experience
