Senior Research Associate located in
Waltham, MA. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:- Responsible for the execution and analysis of experiments and analytical procedures for in vivo and in vitro studies.
- Perform RNA extraction, PCR analysis, immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation.
- Culturing of mammalian cells, cell line maintenance, and transfection.
- In vivo work of I.V, S.C, P.O, animal injections, animal models, and animal handling.
- Display an investigative or technological orientation in designing, executing and interpreting experiments and analytical procedures.
- Investigate basic technical problems and performs routine scientific procedures and experiments under general supervision.
- Plan and prioritize concurrent experimental procedures.
- Integrate, compile, and tabulate data and assist supervisor in the analysis and interpretation of the results.
- May provide oral presentations on results to other department members. Work under active supervision. Follow established procedures.
- Bachelors with 4+ years or a Masters with 3+ years of experience with PCR, RNA extraction, cell culture, and immunoblotting/immunoprecipitation, in vivo work is a plus!
Technical Information:- 9-month contract with the potential for extension or conversion to permanent
- Onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm
- Pay: $50-$60 hourly, depending on experience level
