In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and creating a variety of pastries and desserts to delight our guests. You will work closely with our Head of Pastry and other team members to ensure the highest quality and presentation of our pastry offerings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Follow recipes and instructions provided by the Head of Pastry
- Ensure all products are of high quality and meet our standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to coordinate food preparation and service
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Degree or diploma in pastry or culinary arts is preferred
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and recipes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce consistent and beautiful pastries
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have strong bakery skills and ability to work very early shifts
