Core One is seeking a Strategic Analyst to support the program. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support the development of strategic guidance and concepts.
- Conduct studies, experiments, and wargames to refine strategic deliverables.
- Manage all aspects of the requirements within the Performance Work Statement (PWS), including:
- Quality and timeliness of products/services provided
- Quality and timeliness of staffing
- Management of fiscal resources
- Communication and coordination with program stakeholders
- Develop written research and analysis products supporting each iterative step in the Future Force Capabilities Development process.
- Prepare and staff Capability Road Maps.
- Prepare and staff a draft Future Capabilities Plan and other output products.
- Develop scenarios, future capabilities validation metrics, and evaluation plans to validate and refine future concepts and capabilities.
- Prepare a strategic outreach plan to engage with and educate key decision makers, influencers, and thought leaders.
- Produce monthly and quarterly reports.
- Conduct readiness gap analysis by identifying and analyzing capability gaps.
- Assess technologies, resources, processes, and infrastructure to fill identified gaps, including analysis of root causes, impacts, and risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Graduate of one or more of the following formal courses of instruction:
- U.S. Military Intermediate Level School equivalent
- U.S. Military Top Level School equivalent
- Joint PME Level II
- Minimum of 3 years' experience serving in a senior (O-6 or higher) Marine Corps or Joint staff position.
- Knowledge of Marine Corps Planning Process, Joint Planning Process, or equivalent military planning process.
- Understanding of U.S. Special Operations roles, missions, organization, and capabilities.
- Experience developing component-level or higher strategy or doctrine.
- Experience serving within MARFORSOC or other Special Operations Forces component.
- Ability to function as the contract site lead, including planning, organizing, supervising, and mentoring the contract team.
- Mastery of policy, guidance, and current issues necessary to develop recommendations related to USMC and USSOCOM strategic planning.
- Joint Qualified Officer preferred.
