Forensic Data Analytics Consultant
100% Remote
USC & GC Only
Pay Rate: $80 to $110/hour
The Forensic Data Analytics Associate will have an investigative mindset with problem solving skills and the ability to think critically about data to deliver high-quality work product for dispute, investigation, compliance, and other business risk matters.
The Associate is responsible for validating, querying, and analyzing large complex data sets, working within a team environment, and researching new tools and advanced analytics techniques. Client's data analytics practice helps clients to grow revenue and profitability through value-driven insights.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Provides forensic analytics services to a variety of clients, including outside counsel, regulators, and companies involved in investigation, dispute, regulatory, and compliance matters
- Engages on forensic assignments related to fraud, anti-money laundering, insurance claims, foreign corrupt practices act (FCPA), disputes and other matters
- Associate will be building databases of transactional data, complex transactions, financial statements, and other data sets
- Analysis of financial records, accounting data, database extracts, and other data sets
- Assists with the preparation of high-quality deliverables to ensure client satisfaction
- Cultivates and maintains positive, productive, and professional relationships with colleagues and clients
- Acts with professionalism and integrity when working with confidential and sensitive information
- Identifies and researches new trends and tools and understands the data analytics marketplace while working on client engagements
Education
- Bachelor's degree, required; Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Accounting major, preferred
Experience Level
- 2 to 5 or more years of experience in client-facing consulting, offering data analytics services for disputes, litigation and investigations matters or forensic , required
- Prior Forensic Consulting Experience, required
- Prior financial and/or statistical analysis, business valuation, public accounting, and/or forensic analytics experience, preferred
Experience in the following areas, preferred

License/Certifications
- CFE, CPA, and/or CAMS, preferred
- Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle certifications, preferred
- Tableau or Power BI certification, preferred
Software
- Ability to write SQL queries and manage large data sets within SQL Server or other databases to support various forensic reporting, required
- Experience with Python, R, and/or other programming languages or tools, preferred
- Experience with data profiling and data management tools, preferred
- Experience with data visualization software, preferred
Language
- Fluency Spanish and/or Mandarin (read, speak and/or write), nice to have
