The Director of Marketing will lead our marketing efforts, focusing on strategy, vision, and execution. This role will oversee a team of marketing professionals and will focus on building a strong marketing vision, lead generation efforts, brand awareness, marketing analytics, and overseeing both field and corporate events. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of professional services and the cybersecurity landscape, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports business objectives and enhances brand awareness in the cybersecurity sector.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a collaborative marketing team, fostering a results-driven environment.
- Design and execute effective lead generation processes to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth, utilizing various digital marketing tactics.
- Oversee the planning and execution of field and corporate events, including trade shows, webinars, and customer engagement activities, ensuring alignment with marketing goals.
- Create and manage high-quality marketing content, including brochures, podcasts, white papers, blogs, website copy, and social media posts that effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth, adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment on marketing initiatives.
- Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior marketing role within cyber security.
- Proven track record of creating and executing successful B2B marketing strategies and managing marketing teams.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and event management.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools and analytics platforms.

Work Environment
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
- Travel may be required up to 15%.
