Roles & Responsibilities
• Strong understanding of search algorithms and how various content and linking strategies affect results.
• Working knowledge of how to manage multiple business entities with Google’s business platforms.
• Ability to partner with marketing, IT, and digital design to identify specific landing page strategies to maximize search exposure.
• Expertise reviewing and providing formal recommendations to mid-upper management.
• Be a thought leader and show a passion to continuously learn, improve, and share your knowledge.
• Ability to proactively build consensus among the Stakeholders • Evaluate new frameworks, methodologies, best practices and constantly work towards improving and optimizing workflow • At least (4) four years of experience in SEO/SEM, digital product, and/or web design.
• Previous experience working with an enterprise web analytics platform (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and Google business • At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Previous experience working with web technologies and HTML-based code frameworks.
• Previous experience with digital or web analytics for a hospitality or travel company.
• Manage the day-to-day operation of GMB and current SEO/SEM analytics efforts to improve organic search results through various SEO techniques.
• Collaborate with corporate and property teams to identify strategies to maximize search exposure, including local search (GMB).
• Make recommendations to improve site and internal/external linking architecture, page construction, meta-data, content, and SEO copywriting.
• Create, manage, and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting utilizing online analytic tools as well as traditional BI platforms; publish reporting and analytics on keyword analysis and search performance to internal stakeholders.
• Develop and implement process and procedures to regularly test and improve search performance.
• Keep abreast of new features and functionality released within our analytics platforms and recommend how to best utilize these to grow our knowledge.
• Provide thought leadership and guidance in the area of search engine optimization.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
