Test Engineer - TS/SCI Required

DSA is seeking a highly qualified Test Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to join our team in Charlottesville, VA.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI government clearance
• 3-5 years' successful Software Test Engineering experience in US Army or DoD programs
• Understands software integration practices and be able to work effectively and independently to meet deadlines
• Able to express technical ideas and opinions effectively
• Possess strong analytical skills, ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues
• Understanding and ability to perform within a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative working environment
• Candidate must be able to work effectively within an Agile software development environment.
• Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills are required
• BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or 1 to 8 years' experience in software test.

• Experience testing in AWS Cloud Environments

• Identifying any sequence of activities that detail software operating issues, creating defect reports, investigating defect problem areas, supporting product demonstrations, supporting integration events and supporting testing activities that lead to a successful software release.
• The Software Test Engineer will work closely with Software Developers and Quality Assurance Engineers within scrum teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Develop testing plans and testing scenarios in accordance with the functional requirements and detail technical specifications provided by the Software Engineering team to ensure code generated by the Software Engineering team conforms to the specified requirements.
• Lead aspects of testing, including functional, regression, integration, load and system testing
