DSA is seeking a highly qualified S enior Full Stack Developer with an active TS/SCI clearance to join our team in Charlottesville, VA. This position will be a hybrid remote position with approximately 50% of hours supported onsite at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC).
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI Security Clearance
- BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science (Requisite experience may be substituted for a degree.)
- DoD 8570.01 IAT or IAM Level II certification
- Ten years of experience developing in Java (years of experience with other languages can be substituted with a high level of Java working knowledge)
- Two years of experience with AWS
- Ability to work with a distributed team efficiently.
- Experience leading and mentoring junior developers.
- Experience with Grails
- Experience with data management concepts (big data/ETL)
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience with Apache Maven
- Experience working in a Linux Environment
- Familiarity with secure development practices
Desired Qualifications - Experience with infrastructure as code
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience developing Nifi processors.
- Experience with Postgres and Oracle
Key Responsibilities
The Developer will play a critical role in the modernization of Army insider threat programs performing Army and national security missions. The developer will support transition of the program from its current on premises iteration into a cloud hosted environment. The Senior Full Stack developer will also serve as a subject matter expert for the team in their respective disciplines working to mentor the junior developers on the team as well as working with the lead architect and scrum master to inform program direction.
