Career opportunities are available for candidates looking for a position to be an Engineering Project Coordinator. This person will provide knowledge and expertise in applying skills by proper documentation of customer deliverables and having good communication channels open between the customer and internal production teams. This position works closely with the engineering, production, and program management teams.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Maintain a Master Production Requirement delivery performance file for various programs.
• Load sales orders into Manex for all production program requirements.
• Provide support to Charleroi production plan for all subassemblies and end item deliverables for all applicable programs.
• Maintain the 4-month Production and RMA weekly review file.
• Create RMAs all incoming field returns. 
• Support contract management for all repair proposals from award through their contract closeout
  Maintain the NAVSUP repair file
• Process and provide Charleroi shipping department with all required shipping documentation and instructions for shipping.
• Provide customer notification on all shipments which includes PO number, item numbers and tracking info.
• Coordinate all customer rework requests for Progeny equipment. Usually happens with every system getting ready to ship from customer integration sites to the boat.
• Coordinate/track all CFM requirements to Computer Server sub-contractors
• Coordinate with DCMA the sell-off of any on-site Software/Lab equipment
• Work on requests for CASREPs and MIL-Strips. This includes loaning production hardware and coordinating a payback.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong communication skills.
• Strong, self-motivated team member who can thrive in a multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to work in a high stress environment with tight schedules.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills; additional Microsoft product skills is a plus.
• Experience with Engineering MRP tools, specifically Manex, is a plus.
• Knowledge and or hands-on experience with hardware and electronics, including mechanical, cabling, and electronic fabrication is a plus.
• Familiarity with DoD Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), DCMA / DLA shipping request process is a plus

Education/Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Certificate in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• A minimum of 3 years of dedicated equivalent DOD work experience.

This position requires the applicant to be Eligible for a DoD Clearance.

Physical and Mental Requirements for all positions: 
• Prolonged stationary periods at a desk
• General ability to operate computer and other productivity machinery such as calculator, copy machine, printer, etc.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 15 pounds at times 
• Effectively communicate with others
• Ability to stay focused and provide attention to detail. 
• Ability to think analytically and apply problem solving skills to scenarios throughout the course of the workday
