QA Automation Lead
Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN
12 month contract
Role and Responsibilities:
As an Automation Lead, you will be responsible for driving the automation efforts of UI applications and API services. You will work with cutting-edge tools and technologies to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. Your role will involve coordinating resources, communicating with customers, participating in Agile-based projects, and contributing to the ongoing success of our automation initiatives.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Assurance
- 6+ years of experience in automation of UI applications (using Selenium with Java) and API services (REST Assured)
- Very strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Gradle, REST Assured, KARATE Framework, and Appium
- Working experience with CI/CD tools
- Expertise in using JIRA and other test management tools like Quality Center / ALM
- Experience in working with Agile-based projects
- Ability to play a lead role by coordinating onsite and offshore resources, along with customer communications
- Experience in in-sprint and regression automation
- Participation in scrum calls
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in UI and API automation using Selenium/Java and REST Assured.
- Ability to lead by coordinating onsite and offshore resources, managing customer communications, and overseeing day-to-day automation activities in projects.
