In order to drive Buying Labs' growth, we're looking for a motivated eCommerce Manager Marketplaces (m/f/d) with a proven track record of exceeding targets. This role will focus on expanding our marketplaces business and it is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing company and thus an important driver of its commercial success.
Your mission
- Manage (parts of) our inventory levels, including listings on partner marketplaces (MPs) and organization
- Adopt deep knowledge of best selling brands, SKUs and pricings to optimize sales on our MPs
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and margins through partner marketplaces
- Monitor marketplace trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Collaborate with the buying team to potentially test new assortments
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay informed about current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and industry developments to manage inventory selection and pricing decisions effectively
- Closely collaborate with internal departments, such as finance and logistics, to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records of listings and sales
- Stay in close communication with our partner MPs to exploit the best potential and be informed about developments
- Research potential new partners and onboard them
Your profile
We are looking for people who think agile and turn a "can't" into a "can do". Ideally, you should also have the following:
- The cornerstone of your profile is a degree in economics or comparable education with relevant professional experience
- You have several years of professional experience in e-commerce marketplace management
- You are familiar with common software solutions
- You have a strong affinity for e-commerce business models, technologies and processes
- You are characterized by a structured approach and your analytical skills
- You are also known for your strong communication skills, independence and initiative
- You are a fashion enthusiast - no fashion trend passes you by and you have strong international brand awareness
- Fluent German and English skills complete your profile
