Full Stack Engineer (m/f/d)

For this job, we are looking for somebody ambitious and intelligent but also a team fit, willing to actively participate in the day-to-day operations. You should be able to lead our technology, work independently, and manage and prioritize projects.

Buying Labs is a global B2B platform for fashion trading. We offer our partners in more than 15 countries the possibility to source goods from our inventory as well as to sell B2B goods through our network. In doing so, we rely on a strong link between customers and technology to enable companies around the world to trade luxury and premium fashion easily and securely.

For our Hamburg headquarters we are currently looking for a Full Stack Engineer (m/f/d).

Tech-Stack: React.js, Redux, Rest API, Node.js, Express, Sequelize, PostgreSQL, AWS

Why we need you!

• Turning complex business objectives into simple and scalable solutions
• Architecting and writing code with a focus on quality, scalability, and testability
• Developing reusable UI components based on design specifications using React.js, ES6+, and CSS5
• Supporting scalable system design, development, and maintenance and taking responsibility for personal technical quality standards
• Building RESTful APIs and developing server logic in node.js, using javascript and typescript
• Developing and maintaining the DB and Data Warehouse ETL processes
• Writing complex SQL/noSQL queries and optimizing existing query pool
• Knowledge about AWS services and cloud architecture
• Monitoring and troubleshooting production environments

Your special focus!

• Emphasizing on data-driven/data-centric development
• Knowledge in the field of “data analysis”, “data structure” and “data science”
• Aggregating metrics and KPIs
• Streamlining our data procurement process

What you bring!

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Passion for exploring emerging frameworks, libraries, and web/cloud technologies
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, javascript solid background with a proven track record and deep understanding of software design patterns.
• Deep understanding of Node’s async execution and event loop
• Extensive experience designing and developing commercial software, preferably in complex business models and high transaction environments
