Tasks

• Be responsible for Microbiology and Molecular Biology in R&D.
• Plan and execute assay development, validation, and optimization.
• Perform microbiological testing procedures of materials and products, ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
• Provide scientific expertise and consultancy to support innovation teams and business operations.
• Identify and manage projects with external research organizations, universities, and suppliers.
• Develop, and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure the lab operates safely and smoothly.
• Supervise maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• You have an academic degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or vocational training (BTA, MTA, Biologielaborant*in).
• You have 4+ years of work experience with microbiology and molecular biology lab work. Preference for experience with screening and manipulation of different bacterial species
• You love bringing structure and efficiency to a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment.
• Bioinformatics knowledge is a plus.
• You have a hands-on personality, team-play-spirit, and efficient self-time management.
• You are passionate about sustainability and eager to be part of a fast-growing startup.
• Fluent English.
