In Germany, Heat accounts for 50% of total end use energy consumption, of which over 90% stem from the burning of fossil fuels and biomass. Most of that heat is used for buildings, however, for 85% of buildings in Germany, currently no commercially competitive, clean energy source exists. Even with the current increase in gas prices, heat pumps need to become at least 20% more efficient in order to be cheaper than gas in these buildings.
We are on a mission to revolutionize the energy sector and are looking for an ambitious and innovative engineer to lead our cutting-edge "Proof of Concept" project. You will play a pivotal role in the implementation of our novel self-healing mechanism, which promises to make the thus far impractical energy-recovery in heat pump cycles possible, increasing energy efficiency by at least 20%. Your efforts will contribute directly towards making cleaner heating and cooling systems more resource-efficient and commercially viable.
As an Engineer at our company, you will lead project execution by leveraging your hands-on engineering skills, while also guiding a collaborative team of coworkers and service providers.
