The team: our Finance team consists of around 5 professionals coming from different countries. We speak English and German, and are working in a cross-collaboration with other departments at Humanoo. As a Finance Officer at Humanoo, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, analysing financial data, and ensuring the overall financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and possess a strong understanding of financial principles.

Tasks

Accounts receivable

  • Generate and issue accurate and timely invoices
  • Ensure proper documentation of receivables and maintain organised records

Collections

  • Proactively follow up on overdue invoices and liaise with stakeholders for timely payments
  • Implement effective collection strategies to minimise outstanding balances

Support in MEC, YEC, AP and Audit

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for Month End Closing (MEC) processes, ensuring efficient planning and control
  • Assist in Year-End Closing (YEC) activities, including financial reporting, accruals, and audit preparation
  • Contribute to Accounts Payable (AP) functions, processing invoices, managing payments, and vendor relationships
  • Support audit processes by preparing documentation, facilitating audits, and ensuring compliance

Process improvements

  • Conduct thorough process mapping and analysis within the finance department
  • Identify opportunities for automation to streamline Accounts Receivable and Collections processes
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Proficiency in financial softwares and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills in German, or vice versa

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Upon the receipt of your application, our Talent Acquisition team will thoroughly evaluate your submission. We endeavour to provide a response within a period of 3-5 business days. If your application progresses positively, you will be invited to participate in our comprehensive selection process, which includes the following stages:

  • Initial Screening Call: You will engage in an introductory conversation with a representative from our Talent Acquisition team. This call serves as an opportunity for both parties to get acquainted.
  • Hard skills Assessment: In the next step, you will have a theoretical discussion with an expert from our Finance team. This stage is designed to assess your hard skills proficiency and problem-solving skills in a real-time mode
  • Lead Interview with CEO: As a final step, you will have a one-on-one interview with our Chief Executive Officer (CeO). This conversation will provide an opportunity for you to connect with a key member of our leadership team.

After the completion of these interview stages, our hiring team will convene for a debrief session to discuss your application. Following this debrief, our Talent Acquisition Partner will reach out to you to provide feedback and communicate the final decision regarding your candidacy.
