Application Scientist Miniature Two-Photon Microscopy

PhenoSys, founded in 2006, is an R&D company located in the heart of Berlin, Germany. We specialize in engineering and marketing innovative technology for animal behaviour research. We are a small and innovation driven team, made up with natural scientists, information scientists and electrical engineers, working closely with university research groups.

Tasks

• Contact person for all technical questions and use cases of the Mini2P
• Worldwide support for our customers and interested parties including on-site appointments
• Carrying out product demos and training sessions
• Close cooperation with the developers and the sales and marketing team
• Collaboration on further development of the product and the expansion of our portfolio

Requirements

• Expertise in Two-Photon Microscopy: Basic knowledge in two-photon microscopy linked to neurobiological applications
• Doer Attitude & Curiosity for Product Development: Mechanical skills, interest in data analysis, coding skills are a plus.
• Customer-First Mentality: Open-minded and friendly personality with high willingness to provide expert guidance and support (incl. product demos & trainings) - occasional business trips around the globe are part of the thrill
• Affinity for Optics and Electronics: A solid grasp of optical principles involved in imaging systems, coupled with familiarity in electronic components and control mechanisms used in such systems.
