Senior AI Engineer

Tasks

As Senior AI Engineer, you'll have the chance to develop and deploy state-of-the-art generative AI solutions, building the technological foundations of impactAI. Leading junior colleagues, you will drive the creation of innovative generative AI products to support our enterprise customers in their transformation journey.

What Are Your Responsibilities?

• Design, develop, deploy and implement generative AI-based solutions
• Work with data scientists and engineers to collect, clean, and preprocess data
• Optimize generative AI products for accuracy, speed, and scalability
• Deploy generative AI models in production
• Evaluate the performance of generative AI solutions and set them up for continuous improvement

Requirements

What Makes You a Great Fit?

• Deep Knowledge: Master's degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related field.

• Hands-on Experience: 3 yrs experience in AI and ML and first experience in GenAI, ideally in top tech companies and startups.

• AI Mastery: Practical experience with the Generative AI tech stack to solve real-world problems Including:

• Experience in end-to-end Machine Learning implementation

• Most popular models (private and open source)

• Data pipelines (e.g., Databricks)

• Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone)

• Orchestrators (e.g., LangChain)

• Cloud providers (e.g., Azure)

• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with diverse and virtual product teams.

• BONUS: Fluency in German and willingness to relocate to Cologne or Stuttgart are considered a plus.
