Come and build the future with us!<br></p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Developing mobile phone imaging lenses and new optical architectures:<ul><li>Optical design of fixed focal lens, zoom lens, freeform optics, etc</li><li>Tolerance analysis and straylight analysis</li><li>Alignment with cross-functional team on mechanical design, actuation scheme, etc.</li><li>Support fabrication and characterization of the optics</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Proposing new concepts and ideas for lenses and drafting patents</li><li>Networking with industry and academia experts and technology scouting</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Detailed Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>PhD or post-doctoral qualifications in optics, or related research domains</li><li>10+ years of related work experience</li><li>Thorough understanding of camera lens design and camera technology</li><li>Experienced with design for manufacturing methods</li><li>Experienced in lens mass production and assembly: tooling, injection molding, active alignment, etc. </li><li>Proficient in Zemax /Code V/LightTools</li><li>Ability to program Zemax and Code V macros or use other programming languages</li><li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken</li></ul><p><strong>Location: </strong>Tampere, Finland</p><p><strong>Type of contract: </strong>This is a full-time consultant position; the consultant shall be employed by Huawei's supplier.</p> •
