Our client is looking for an experienced DoD Contract Specialist to add to their team in Oklahoma City, OK, to manage the full contract lifecycle for DoD projects. This position will manage and execute the full lifecycle of defense acquisition contracts, for both classified and unclassified contracts, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations and requirements. Our client is looking for someone who possesses a strong understanding of regulations and policies governing federal and defense contracting, with expertise in full contract lifecycle management, from pre-award surveys through contract closeout. Qualified candidates will have experience leading contract initiatives in acquisition planning, proposal/contract formulation, contract negotiation, cost and price analysis, and production management for systems, components, and/or services. DoD Contract Specialist (FAR or DFAR + contract lifecycle mgmt. exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Lead contract formulation, negotiation, and review; ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR
•    Identify risks and address conflicts of interest; coordinate reviews with senior leadership
•    Manage full lifecycle of Federal Prime, Multiple Award, and IDIQ contracts
•    Support RFP analysis, proposal development, reviews, negotiations, and contract modifications
•    Perform cost and price analyses to ensure compliance with DoD policies
•    Prepare and provide cost estimates and pricing for contracts
•    Observe and evaluate contractor performance; ensure timely contract fulfillment
•    Ensure adherence to contracting laws, regulations, and procedures at all times
•    Prepare contract documentation, including modifications and terminations
•    Ensure compliance with DoD standards and regulations
•    Maintain accurate contract reporting systems and detailed reports throughout the contract lifecycle

DoD Contract Specialist (FAR or DFAR + contract lifecycle mgmt. exp. req.) Qualifications

•    5+ years of government contracts administration experience required
•    Strong working knowledge of FAR or DFAR contract regulations and policies required
•    Full contract lifecycle management experience required
•    Experience managing acquisition planning, proposal/contract formulation, and negotiations required
•    Experience managing cost & price analysis and production management required
