Position Requirements: The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for developing, designing, and implementing engineered systems. They oversee every aspect of a complex system's lifecycle, from initial creation through to production, management, and final delivery. In a production environment, the Senior Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of IT systems.

HANDS (Responsibilities + Duties)
- Directs, develops, monitors, and reports on the systems within all functional areas.
- Alerts Senior Audio Visual Design Engineer as appropriate of concerns, changes, and progress; makes recommendations, and implements solutions to problems.
- This role is indispensable in maintaining the stability, reliability, and performance of production systems, which directly impact business operations and continuity
- A Production Senior Systems Engineer possesses extensive knowledge and experience in managing complex IT infrastructures, particularly within production environments.
- Ability to lead a large team and foster a productive and resourceful work culture.
- Provides clear, concise and timely communication of directives cross-departmentally.
- Ability to lead multiple projects at one time.
- By proactively identifying and addressing potential issues, they help minimize downtime and mitigate risks associated with system failures, security breaches, or performance bottlenecks to innovate and solve problems.

- REQUIRED: 5 to 8 years of systems engineering experience
- Ability to work systematically while managing multiple tasks.

- Self-awareness to identify strengths and weaknesses.
- Establish and implement systems, structures, training, and resources that equip and empowers the team.
- Work closely with Audio Systems Engineer to assure systems are on track, and that collaboration is happening.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that best practices are followed, and solutions are implemented efficiently and effectively.
- Sr. System Engineer contributions directly contribute to the organization’s bottom line by optimizing system efficiency, reducing operational costs, and enhancing productivity.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of production systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Lead efforts to diagnose and resolve technical issues impacting production systems, minimizing downtime and disruption to operations.
- Capacity Planning and Scalability: Plan for future growth and scalability of production systems, ensuring they can accommodate increasing demands without sacrificing performance or reliability.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect production systems from cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within production workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to minimize the impact of system failures or disasters on production operations.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of production systems and services.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of production systems and processes, and provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to team members.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices, and identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations to enhance production operations.
