HAND (Expectations + Duties):
- Manage, maintain, and repair video production equipment
- Designing and implementing scalable video streaming infrastructure, including content delivery networks (CDNs), video servers, and protocols for efficient video delivery
- Codec Selection and Optimization Selecting appropriate video codecs and optimizing encoding parameters for efficient compression and high-quality video playback across various devices and network conditions.
- Quality Assurance and Testing processes to ensure video playback reliability, compatibility, and performance across different devices, browsers, and network conditions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as software developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to integrate video features into larger applications and platforms.
- Implement and integrate systems for video production department
- Research and Innovation: Staying informed about emerging trends and technologies in the field of video engineering, conducting research, and experimenting with new techniques to improve video quality, efficiency, and user experience.
- Documentation and Training Creating documentation, guidelines, and training materials to help team members understand and utilize video engineering tools and best practices effectively.
- Works with the Senior Systems Engineer to oversee designs, installations and maintenance requirements for all tc video systems.
- Work with Senior Systems Engineer to set up recording and streaming systems at various locations

HEAD (Knowledge + Training):
- REQUIRED: Minimum 4 years of experience within Audio/Visual industry and/or church live production
- Highly tech-savvy, able to learn and master new technology quickly and thoroughly
- Understanding of white balance and matrix color practices for live video production
- Comprehensive knowledge of video codecs, HDR color space, HDR workflows, and color science
- Extensive experience using Propresenter, Ross Ultrix Router, Ultrix Acuity Switcher, Ross Dashboard, Xpression, Open Gear Frames, Sony Cameras, Sony HDC-F5500RCPs and CCUs, Fuji Cabrio Lenses, Disguise One systems, Unreal Renderstream pipeline, ROE LED Brompton Processors
- Ability to train and develop volunteers on equipment
- Ability to resolve conflict in calming manner
- Proficient computer skills with Apple, Microsoft, and Google products and the ability to learn TC-used databases and technologies
