2nd Shift Quality Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:  

DaikyoNishikawa (DNUS) Inc. has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking Quality Technician with a good eye for detail. This role will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You may also be required to maintain calibrated testing equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain company inspection reports.
• Inspect products according to quality and safety standards.
• Ensure products comply with the company standards as well as Federal and State law.
• Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
• Report quality anomalies to the group leader.
• Notify group leader of defective material, equipment, or tools that hinder the process.
• Participate in projects and work with others to provide solutions to opportunities and drive improvement and efficient.
• Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
• Maintain and support 5S initiatives throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must understand advanced mathematical concepts.
• Must have a high-level of visual awareness.
• Must have advance organizational skills.
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
• Must be able to make repetitive motions involving twisting, turning, and bending.
• Able to stand for long period of time.
• Have a strong attention to detail.
• Results orientated.
• Dependable.

• Adaptable and supportive of positive change.
