<p>Coller Capital is a specialist investor in the secondary private capital market with $35bn AUM across different fund strategies, including both Private Equity and Private Credit, through closed-end and open-ended funds. </p><p>The CIO Office is responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment processes, fund strategies, portfolio construction, and post-investment monitoring. The successful applicant will join this team and have responsibilities across all of these areas.<br></p><p><strong>Key Tasks and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>INVESTMENT PROCESS</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in oversight of investment analysis and review processes to ensure consistency and appropriate risk evaluation, mitigation, and governance</li><li>Maintain and update investment committee memos and analysis templates</li><li>Ad hoc projects focused on improvement of analytical processes</li><li>Support in management of investment committee and decision-making process</li></ul><p><strong>FUND STRATEGY AND PORTFOLIO CONSTRUCTION</strong></p><ul><li>Support CIO Office on fund strategies, working with relevant stakeholders to optimise portfolio construction and ensure consistent investment returns</li><li>Prepare materials for investment committee to determine strategic priorities of each fund during its investment period and set the risk-return framework</li><li>Thematic studies based on market developments; periodic review of structural and macro-trends</li></ul><p><strong>POST-INVESTMENT MONITORING</strong></p><ul><li>Support regular review of current and projected performance at investment and fund level; participate in preparation of regular expected returns process</li><li>Collaborate with Data Science team to improve oversight and understanding of our portfolio; develop and incorporate enhanced investment and portfolio risk modelling tools</li><li>Develop lessons learned analysis to create a feedback loop into analytical framework and fund strategy</li><li>Prepare responses for investor relations and fundraising queries</li></ul><p><strong>Qualification and Experience:<br></strong></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL</strong></p><ul><li>Asset Management background ORQualified Accountant, 1-2yr PQE (ideally with Transaction Services or Modelling experience)</li><li>Very strong analytical abilities and advanced financial and business modelling skills</li><li>High level of attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)</li></ul><p><strong>DESIRABLE</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of the Private Capital and/or Secondaries markets</li><li>No prior Private Capital experience required</li></ul><p><strong>Competencies:</strong> <br></p><ul><li>Ambitious and highly motivated</li><li>Team player with a strong work ethic</li><li>Self-starter</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Results driven</li><li>Strategic and commercial acumen</li><li>Entrepreneurial approach </li><li>Initiative and adaptability<strong></strong></li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>In addition to a competitive salary and bonus scheme, we offer private medical insurance and an attractive pension. </p><p></p><p>Coller Capital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
