Job Description:

Pay Range $70hr - $75hr

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans.
Write test cases and scripts.
Stay up-to-date on the latest hardware and software technologies.
Train new engineers on validation procedures and tools.
Receive and investigate hardware and software problems reported by engineers.
Develop and implement debug tools and procedures.
Assemble, configure, and test hardware platforms.
Install and configure operating systems and software.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on hardware platforms.
Document hardware and software configurations.
Work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
Hands-on experience with installing Linux/Windows/VMWare OS, updating drivers.
Experience with BIOS/CPLD/FWs/VR/BMC programming, updating chipset drivers.
Knowledge about connecting a system in a Network Environment using DHCP/Static IP.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and firmware.
Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to learn new technologies and procedures.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Physical ability to:
Due to the nature of the job the candidate should be able to lift 25 pounds with assistance.
Climb short stairs.
Spend most of the time on the floor working on tool sets/servers.
