A financial firm is looking for a
LLM Operations Engineer to join their team in New York, NY or Stamford, CT.
Compensation: $200,000-250,000In this role, you will be responsible for conducting the day-to-day operational work on the firm's GenAI/LLM platform and LLM models. You will collaborate with internal teams for user onboarding, training, and education.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard new users to the GenAI/LLM models and ensure they have the proper access and tools to utilize them effectively
- Assist users with troubleshooting technical issues and provide necessary support regarding the platform and models
- Educate users on how to effectively use the LLM user interface, platform, and models to achieve their goals, including the development of training materials such as user manuals and guides
- Collaborate with various teams withinTechnology to identify and solve problems related to user experience regarding the GenAI/LLM models
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in the GenAI/LLM field and recommend improvements and/or upgrades to the models to ensure they remain cutting edge
- Interface with Infrastructure, Information Security, Networking, and Development teams to build and automate new tools and access to new models
- Write clear and concise user guides and documentation
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- 5+ years of experience in technical operations or related fields
- Knowledge of Generative AI/LLM technologies including GPT-3, Transformers, etc.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and train end-users
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems, basic programming concepts, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience in managing user access and conducting user audits in a technical operation role
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills as well as the ability to communicate complex concepts
- Curiosity, with a willingness to embrace uncertainty and be comfortable with failure while exploring with new ideas
