We're looking for a Business Analyst for the EMEA region with expertise in commercial finance and pricing strategies. This role is central to shaping our pricing strategies to ensure future profitable and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with a focus on commercial aspects and a deep understanding of pricing dynamics within the Professional Services sector across the value chain. You will be involved in a number of projects, initiatives and workstreams, interacting with a wide range of stakeholders on an international basis.
You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, EMEA.
Key Skills Required
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyse complex data sets and derive actionable insights. With a deep understanding of financial principles, business metrics and financial impacts
- Deep understanding of pricing principles, methodologies and techniques of the professional service sector
- Proficient using data analysis tools and software include PowerBI. Familiar with data systems including CRM, Pipeline, Workday etc.
- Ability to align strategies with overall business goal
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present data and insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting

Key Responsibilities
- Pricing Strategy Development:
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven pricing strategies that align with business objectives on a Regional level and respective market opportunities. Tailor pricing strategies to different client segments to maximize value capture. Develops the organization's strategic plan(s) to ensure its continued successful growth and profitability
- Workforce Planning:
- Help shape the future evolution of the workforce and the impact of AI. Use advanced financial modelling techniques to evaluate pricing scenarios and assess profitability across service offerings.
- Performance measurement/Analytics:
- Establish KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies. Regularly analyse performance data to identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Risk assessment/mitigation:
- Assess risks associated with pricing changes, including competitive response and impact on profitability. Develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Continuous improvement:
- Drive initiatives to improve the effectiveness and agility of pricing processes. Conduct research to identify emerging trends, pricing strategies and market dynamics that impact the professional services sector.
Qualifications/Experience
- Prior experience as a Financial Controller, Financial Director or Senior Business Analyst
- Must have experience within professional services industry (or adjacent industries)
