[HYBRID] Help Desk Support Specialist 
Location: Birmingham, AL  
Salary: $62,000-$72,000 
Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k, Holidays, PTO  
Job Type: Full-Time 
Typical Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm (minimal after-hours support required) 
Start Date: ASAP 
Travel: ~50% (around the Birmingham area)

[HYBRID] Help Desk Support Specialist (2 yrs. IT exp. req.) Description 

Our client in the IT services industry is looking for a Help Desk Support Technician to join their team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting their external clients with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair. To be chosen for this role, you must have two years of help desk experience with a passion for learning new technology. You’ll split your time (50/50) between visiting clients in-person to solve their IT needs while also helping virtually from your home office. They’re looking for candidates who pride themselves on their ability to learn new technology quickly while also maintaining open lines of communication with the rest of their team to ensure client issues are being solved quickly and efficiently. Someone who is proactive in their pursuit of continued learning but agile enough to use the resources at their disposal. Our client has a loyal clientele so you can feel even more comfortable making this transition. [HYBRID] Help Desk Support Specialist (2 yrs. IT exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Offer daily troubleshooting and support for continuous agreements
•    Implement regular maintenance tasks such as backups, patches, and updates
•    Onsite travel for in-person support when required
•    Ensure professional and consistent responses to client inquiries
•    Keep technical documentation up to date on customer infrastructure
•    Provide detailed time tracking for accurate client billing
•    Execute implementations, upgrades, and migrations on platforms
•    Provide technical guidance during pre-sales initiatives
•    Collaborate with team members to enhance idea exchange
•    Support future growth initiatives and client retention efforts

[HYBRID] Help Desk Support Specialist (2 yrs. IT exp. req.) Qualifications

•    2+ years of IT support experience required 
•    Background with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems required  
•    Experienced with Active Directory required 
•    Strong communication skills both written and verbal required 
•    Reliable transportation and driver’s license required
