Training Manager

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Training Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for filming, editing, and uploading training videos and developing interactive quizzes for our aircraft cleaning and janitorial staff. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring our team is well-trained, consistent, and compliant with industry standards. This is a hands on, travel intensive role. You will be expected to perform all company services to proficiency in order to have a full understanding of the content you are creating.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Filming and Production:

• Plan, script, and storyboard training videos in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Film instructional and safety videos on-site across the country, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
• Set up and manage cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for high-quality video production. Equipment should be oriented toward speed of production and operations under all temperatures

Success metric is 90% availability to travel for filming with 7 days notice. Must have the ability to extend trips to meet aircraft maintenance schedules.

2. Video Editing and Post-Production:

• Edit raw footage to create engaging and informative training videos.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and text overlays as needed.
• Ensure videos align with company branding and quality standards.

Success metric is a 72-hour turnaround time

3. E-Learning Content Development:

• Design and create quizzes, assessments, and other interactive learning materials to accompany training videos.
• Use e-learning platforms or learning management systems (LMS) to upload and organize content.
• Optimize content for accessibility and ease of use on various devices.
• Explore and propose new technologies to keep the training department scaling adequately

4. Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with the safety and training manager and operations teams to understand training objectives and content requirements.
• Creating operations manuals at new locations in collaboration
• Assisting in the updating of location specific operations manuals to ensure most current training and contact information quarterly.
• Provide regular updates on project timelines and deliverables.
• Gather feedback on training materials and make improvements as needed.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Ensure all training content meets company standards and compliance requirements.
• Stay up-to-date on best practices in video production and e-learning trends.

Skills:

1. Experience in video production and editing (portfolio required).

2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.

3. Familiarity with e-learning tools and platforms (e.g., Articulate, Moodle, Paychex, or similar LMS).

4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

5. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Basic understanding of cleaning and janitorial processes (preferred but not required).

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
• Must be willing to perform cleaning and janitorial staff. All of FoxTrot’s office staff has exposure to business verticals, leading to an integrated culture an understanding of challenges and environments of operation
• Flexibility to travel to various job sites for filming.
• Expect trips of 3 to 5 days at a time
• Must be willing to travel in company King Air aircraft and Airlines (no fear of flying or smaller corporate aircraft).
