Learning & Development Manager

We are on an exciting trajectory of growth that has put us in the position to seek a talented Learning and Development Manager. This role will design, implement, and manage a comprehensive training program that will be pivotal in providing our employees with growth opportunities and career advancement.

Position Overview
  • Design and implement an effective learning and development program aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Develop, schedule, and manage assigned training programs (identification of learning goals, content creation, coordination with subject matter experts, deliver training sessions and workshops).
  • Develop and facilitate training sessions on a variety of topics including but not limited to leadership, communication, customer service, sales, and technical skills.
  • In partnership with Leadership, help to develop and support individual training plans based on employee progression and feedback (call coaching sessions, role-plays, trainings, call shadowing)
  • Assess training needs of the organization, and design and deliver customized programs to address these needs.
  • Identify and recommend external vendors as needed for content acquisition.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify key performance indicators and develop training programs to achieve those metrics.
  • Project Management and delivery of corporate training programs to include new hire training (key focus on business partner roles), progressive tenure-based skills training, management development training, etc.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement changes as necessary to continually improve employee performance and productivity.
  • Stay up to date with the latest training trends and technologies and implement best practices in the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Partner with HR to develop and manage career development programs, mentoring programs, and other learning initiatives.
  • Prepare educational materials, reference sheets, video training sessions, etc.
  • LMS administration including the identification and implementation of new functionality.
  • Manage Learning and Development course content library.

Qualifications
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs that drive business results.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and evaluation techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with people via a collaborative approach.
  • Passionate about coaching and developing others.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills,
  • Proficient in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint); prior experience with e-learning software is a plus.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in learning and development
  • Ideally staffing industry expertise or in professional services, retail or healthcare environments.

Work Location
  • East Brunswick, NJ
  • Remote is an option if willing to travel to NJ 2-3 times a quarter.
