Staff Accountant
Richmond VA

MUST:
Experienced Staff Accountant
Bachelors degree with course studies in principles of accounting and intermediate accounting required
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel
Computer software skills with Exact Software Macola and Monarch experience
Ability to work with highly confidential material
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

DUTIES:
The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assisting in closing the accounting books monthly in a specified time frame with assigned tasks
Performing monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation
Preparing and entering general ledger journal entries associated with assigned tasks
Assisting in several yearly audits
