The Role

This role is ideal for a Marketing Manager with a blend of strategic thinking and a proactive attitude. Plentific connects people which is at the heart of this role. 

As a Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of key marketing initiatives to ensure marketing contribution to the company objectives and accelerate user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. You will focus on event management and will be instrumental in developing strategic event planning and creating comprehensive communication plans. Leveraging your expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and experimentation, you will optimise various channels and campaigns to achieve business objectives including support in digital activation for product marketing. This includes content creation, website updates, email campaigns, and managing agencies to drive relationship-building and pipeline generation, ultimately supporting revenue goals.

As a key member of the Plentific marketing community, you will plan and execute field marketing initiatives and revenue generation activities. Your responsibilities include organising internal and external events, webinars, managing third-party advertising promotions, industry association programs, partner marketing initiatives, and trade events. You will also oversee social media, content, and inbound marketing efforts, as well as manage sales enablement needs. Working closely with the sales team, you will leverage their insights and feedback to enhance marketing-generated leads supported by digital campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive event marketing plans, including physical and digital formats, that align with company objectives and drive attendance and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute events such as webinars, roundtables, and physical gatherings, including tasks like venue selection, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
  • Utilise online platforms and tools to engage target audiences, build anticipation, and increase attendance.
  • Create compelling event messaging and content (blogs, marketing assets, promotional emails, landing pages and newsletter) that resonates with target audiences, including blogs, marketing assets, promotional emails, and newsletters.
  • Manage event budgets and timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Analyse event performance metrics and provide recommendations for future improvements and optimisations.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into event marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Create and maintain a dedicated event landing page with key information such as schedules, FAQs, ticketing info, and other event details.
  • Tailor your campaign to specific demographics, ensuring maximum relevance and impact.
  • Be our expert for Social Media within the marketing community.
  • Support the marketing team with paid advertising and copywriting tasks.
  • Use brand templates and guidelines to create designs via Canva.
  • Coordinate ad hoc projects for the broader Marketing team.

Requirements

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or similar.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities with excellent execution skills.
  • Project management skills for event planning and execution
  • Proficient in copywriting with a passion for creating engaging content.
  • Quick adaptability and proactive initiative.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in field marketing roles, with a proven track record of driving significant user growth and revenue impact via events and digital campaigns.
  • Experience managing performance marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with a deep understanding of metrics, attribution models, and optimisation techniques.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling user acquisition channels and delivering measurable business results in a fast-paced environment.
  • A deep understanding of targeting, client journeys, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for driving measurable results.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn tools like Canva, Hubspot CMS, Salesforce CRM and our marketing automation tools.
