Portfolio Advisors Senior Accountant

This role will be reporting into our Assistant Controller who oversees Corporate Finance and will be responsible for:

The successful candidate is expected to:

• Assisting with the month end close and overseeing the balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Managing the general ledger; reconciling accounts and posting journal entries 
• Preparing intercompany transactions between several entities
• Assisting with budgeting/forecasting across various business units 
• Posting journal entries and performing monthly account analysis 
• Assisting with the annual audits of our corporate subsidiaries and preparing any support documentation 
• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly financial reporting packages on a timely basis 
• Supporting the Assistant Controller in preparing advisory invoices
• Providing audit support to the Parent Company as required  
• Researching and analyzing expense variances 
• Demonstrating critical thinking and the ability to solve challenging, complex issues in a collaborative environment
• Participating in Ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a finance function. Needs direct private company experience. 
• Ability to work under pressure, question the norm, and meet required deadlines. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with and for a variety of colleagues with demonstrated success working in a team environment.
• Visible desire to learn and grow
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Allvue) is beneficial
