Head of Department

RPO Recruitment is currently working with a reputable Poultry Production company in the North West region to find an experienced and proactive Head of Department. As the Head of Department - North West, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the poultry production operations in the region, ensuring efficient and successful production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the poultry production operations in the North West region
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, meet production targets, and ensure product quality
• Monitor and analyze production performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices for poultry production
• Manage and develop a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to drive business growth and achieve company goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Agriculture, or related field
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the poultry production industry
• Strong knowledge and understanding of poultry production processes, equipment, and industry practices
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to analyze production data and make data-driven decisions
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards for poultry production
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
