Accounting Specialist- Part-Time
Hours=20-25 a week
This position is responsible for performing daily accounting tasks that include but are not limited to Accounts Payable entry, processing expense reports, performing bank reconciliations and processing client invoices. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, flexible and a critical thinker.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include:
- Process reimbursements for employee travel expenses which includes: work with salesperson to resolve issues, verify receipts, validate expense per reimbursement policy and entry into A/P for payment.
- Process credit card entries into A/P
- Process Member Benefit Refunds into A/P
- Process membership reports/invoices through SalesForce each month
- General office duties such as filing and sending certified mail.
- Special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks Desktop
- Understanding of Microsoft suite, a plus
- Experience using SalesForce and Expensify, a plus
