Managing welding procedure qualifications and generating welding procedures to help the manufacturing and welding teams.

Analyzing engineering designs for welding requirements.

Overseeing a team of welders.

Reviewing welding procedures, processes, and documentation.

Conducting failure analyses and cause analyses on welding issues.

Preparing technical reports and work summaries.

Explaining metal properties to Welders to ensure correct utilization of welding techniques

Ensuring all welding work is done using protective gear like gloves, safety hood, and glasses.

Designing and developing a wide range of welding systems

Maintaining and ensuring all welding equipment is in working order.

Using the latest welding techniques like gas metal arc welding, and flux-cored arc welding, & GTAW.

Supervising the workings of other welders.

Taking charge of welding projects.

Reviewing proper implementation of welding procedures

Generating new welding processes and maintaining a database of the same.

Coordinating with stakeholders.

Keeping a track of welding consumable materials and placing the requisition to store

Preparing technical reports and work summaries

Explaining metal properties to Welders to ensure correct utilization of welding techniques.

All the NDT activities have to be supervise thoroughly.

Required Qualification :

Degree in welding engineering or related field.

Previous experience in welding engineering.

ASNT LEVEL II.

Managerial capabilities.

Excellent communication and Presentation skills
