Our client is in need of a Sr Data Analytics Manager for a 3-6 month contract-to-hire role in Philadelphia, PA.
The Sr Data Analytics Manager is a hands-on data analytics role and will work as part of the video analytics team with 1 direct report. The Data Analytics Manager will be responsible working within our clients SQL environment with Hadoop and Tableau dipping in and pulling out adhoc data, triaging data and issues, insight into "viewing” data with relation to media source and market, and creating user stories. This role requires excellent oral and written communication skills due to the interaction with different user, business, and technical teams.
The Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for the entire process working with executives and business to understand requirements, building requirements, and producing data sets that will support decision making on strategic initiatives.
Required Skills

6+ years SQL Data Analytics experience
- Looking for a Master in SQL – for advanced querying of data and use of products like Apache Pig and Hive for complex data transformations into Hadoop
- Must have experience directly working with massive amounts of data, multiple sets of Petabytes which need to be parsed out by attributes and different variables to create user defined lists of the consumers viewing.
Must have experience working within Hadoop, as the SQL Environment which sits on top of the Hadoop infrastructure.
Must have experience with Tableau – which they will be pulling extracted data for generating reports and results.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be onsite daily and desire to convert to full time

Preferred Skills,
(these are highly desired and would be their preference but for the right person with great SQL Data Analysis experience they would look at someone without these)

Video experience is highly desired and preferred, however they will look at some candidates without it.
Experience in telecommunications, internet, ecommerce, or media, preferred
