JRA, Part of RWS Global is a leading force in the themed entertainment industry, dedicated to creating immersive experiences that captivate audiences worldwide. With a rich history of innovative projects, we are seeking a Manager, Business Development to join our team.

Job Summary
The Manager of Business Development at JRA, under the direction of the Vice President of Business Development, will manage key aspects of the sales cycle, including handling incoming leads, developing draft proposals, and maintaining ongoing client communications. This role involves assessing client needs, crafting customized proposals, and coordinating with presentation designers. The manager will also oversee the CRM system, ensuring accurate and timely client data management and outreach. Ideal candidates will have experience in the themed entertainment sector, a background in design, and strong organizational and communication skills. This position requires a proactive, energetic, and team-oriented individual comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming leads via email and log client contacts within the CRM system.
  • Assess client RFPs and summarize opportunities for the business development team.
  • Enter key dates and details into the Wrike project management system.
  • Facilitate the transition from lead to active proposal.
  • Draft customized proposals in Wrike by adapting boilerplate text to fit client requirements.
  • Create proposal content, including sections on Project Understanding, Scope, and Deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Presentation Designers to ensure proposals are visually and content-wise aligned.
  • Continuously update boilerplate text in collaboration with JRA subject matter experts.
  • Manage ongoing client communications and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team for client mailers and outreach.
  • Generate target lists of existing clients for business development initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Work experience within the themed entertainment sector.
  • A background in design and/ or an understanding of design services.
  • Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven proficiency in developing proposals for a design services business.
  • Experience in working with high-profile clients.
  • Proactive, energetic and highly organized attitude, with strong written and verbal creative communications skills.
  • Ability to manage and multi-task multiple proposals and job duties.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, deadline-driven, high-energy environment.
  • A team-player spirit with a fun attitude.
  • Preference will be given to candidates that can work from either of our Cincinnati or New York headquarters.
