Position Overview:

As a Senior App Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of the tech industry, using leading edge toolsets to build out transformative solutions to help solve our client’s business challenges.

This position will be responsible for developing new features and functionality using the very latest developer tooling for external websites and applications running on the Microsoft stack including ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, Web Services, and SQL Server.

Specific Duties:

• Participate in problem analysis with business users and assist in determining software solutions and enhancements.
• Working as a part of an agile development team building out solutions for our clients, you will collaborate with a focused team of developers, architects, UX, UI designers, and product managers in building applications to support business functions
• Analyze and define software requirements.
• Support debugging or troubleshooting efforts internally.
• Mentor Jr. Engineers.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of related .NET development work experience.
• Proficient in C#, Visual Studio, MS-SQL, HTML, JavaScript.
• Experience with multiple .NET patterns and platform technologies like client/server, ASP .NET sites, .NET Core, Web Services, Web API, SOA, or MVC.
• DevOps: experience with Azure DevOps, or Docker, Kubernetes or related technologies.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform, or competitive platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of Angular or React frontend frameworks, is a plus.
• Desired experience utilizing agile software practices or working in an agile environment using:
• Scrum software development practices.
  • Automated unit testing.
  • Continuous integration.
  • Code reviews.
  • Version control systems (e.g. Subversion, Git, or Mercurial).
• Strong communication skills and work ethic.
• Demonstrated history of staying current on best practices in technology.

Preferred Education Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Additional Information:

Gullview Technologies is located in Brainerd, MN. This position is 90+% remote with occasional trips to our Gullview offices as well as client locations for meetings and team working sessions.
