SOFTWARE - Software Engineer

Job DescriptionThe Software Engineer is responsible for maintaining and developing software used in the development and manufacture of laser diodes. This role will be located on-site at our World Headquarters in Oxford, MA and the schedule will be Monday - Friday, from 8:00am - 6:00pm.Primary responsibilities: Develop Web and Windows Desktop Applications utilizing the full software development life cycle, including user interface design, database development, and back-end architecture based on business and functional requirementsSupport and troubleshoot existing software for the purposes of correcting errors and performance improvementsRequirements2 to 4 years of experience in .NET, C#, development and MS SQL Server/RDBMS design and related technologies Excellent skills in debugging, troubleshooting database issues and SQL performance tuningExperience working with User Interface designUnderstanding of source control techniquesAbility to work on several projects at a timeAbility to identify, prioritize and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlinesAbility to work with minimal supervisionRussian language knowledge is a plus
