RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team. As a trusted recruitment agency, we work closely with our clients to find the best talent that meets their specific requirements.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficient operation of our clients' equipment and machinery. You will work closely with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance strategies, conduct regular inspections, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and machinery breakdowns in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop improvement initiatives and implement best practices
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Follow all safety and quality standards
- Perform maintenance work and maintain safety standards
- Perform monthly and yearly inspections on the machines/equipment
- Ensure that all contractors are properly trained and inducted on the plants procedures
- Ensure compliance to legal requirements, (SOP's, COP's Act, Regulations and general good safety practices.)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
- GCC Mines
- Driver's license Code C1/10
- Minimum of 3 years Technical/Mechanical knowledge in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Project Management
- SHERQ Code as per legal environment
- Coal processing plant experience
- Strong knowledge of equipment and maintenance practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
