Title: Labor and Delivery - Irving, TX
Shift: Nights - with rotating weekends
Position Summary:
The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for planning and providing individual goal directed nursing care that promotes, advocates for, and strives to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual, family and community. The L&D RN possesses knowledge of the principles of growth and development and the particular skills necessary to provide optimum patient care to the population for which he or she is employed. The RN is accountable for their practice and care coordination. The RN is expected to practice autonomously utilizing evidence based practices.

Education
- Associates (required) BSN - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Licensure/Certificaton
- Texas State RN or RN Compact License acceptable under eNLC guidelines
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP and AWHONN Certifications
- Experience - Minimum 1 year recent experience in Labor & Delivery
- Must have recent experience ACUTE care experience
Special Notes:
- 180-200 Deliveries per month
- 12 Beds - L&D
- 22 beds - OB/Post Partum
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 2:1 L&D, 3:1 mom baby
Compensation:
- $33-$54 based on experience
- Shift Differential: Nights $3.75 - Weekends $4.20
- Sign on Bonus: UP TO A $10k Sign on
- Relocation: $3,000 ( Depending on distance)
