Role - Client Treasury Investments Analyst
Rate - $38.50/HR on W2 (OT past 40 hours = $57.75/HR)
Duration - 2 Month Assignment (possible extension)
Location - NY NY

Corporate Treasury is responsible for managing the Bank's funding requirements, liquidity and capital structure. It manages the firm's interest rate, liquidity and foreign currency risk. It participates in capital markets through its debt activities, derivative markets through its interest rate management activities and currency markets through its FX management activities. Corporate Treasury also manages the banks excess cash position through its large securities portfolio which consists of US Treasuries and Agencies bonds, Supra & Sovereign Bonds, Mortgage-backed securities and Asset-backed securities.
CTI Analytics conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses such as P&L attribution, risk calculations, and historical analyses across aforementioned products above. In addition, CTI Analytics liaises between the portfolio managers, finance, and risk organizations.

Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the analysis of daily P/L and risk process for CTI Investment Portfolio including attribution analysis and explains
- Assist in Monthly reporting and analytics on CTI's AFS/HTM portfolio
- Perform daily shadow funding reconciliation process and related analysis of variances
- Perform reconciliations for Investment securities and derivatives positions
- Daily interaction with all teams to provide real-time analysis and support
- Provide support to various process re-engineering initiatives to improve controls and gain efficiencies in financial processes.
- Run CTI EERs review and analysis process.

Requirements:
- Excel – Strong knowledge of Excel. VBA knowledge a plus.
- Understanding of Government Securities (US Treasury, Mortgage Backs Securities, Non-US Securities)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Accountable and collaborative team player
- Understanding of Derivatives (Swaps and Futures)
- Ability to learn internal systems for processing Trades and Reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
