Duties:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has 2 to 5 years of IT work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, database design and administration; 1 to 2 years of experience with information security. Requires knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for identifying exceptions to policy, responding to alerts, gathering data, creating reports and assisting in resolving security violations. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is necessary along with the ability to self-manage. This team is also responsible for implementing and maintaining Information Security systems, policies and procedures to detect and/or prevent the disclosure of sensitive data. Operational responsibilities include Linux/Windows administration for virtual and physical security servers and associated software. Any SIEM, database, Firewall/Proxy, Netflow, encryption technologies or Malware detection experience a plus.
