Member Engagement Associate

Responsibilities:
 

• Initiate calls to members, to cultivate relationship with health plan, assess member satisfaction, identify concerns, and gather feedback to improve member experience.
• Work to build strong rapport and trust with members by actively listening, educating and guiding, providing important information and demonstrating empathy.
• Perform quality assurance calls with members who are disenrolling to understand their reasons, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain accurate member records in the data system, documenting interactions and tracking progress for reporting and continuous improvement.

• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service setting, with a focus on member engagement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Ability to connect with members, establish trust, and show genuine empathy in every interaction.
• Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of member contacts efficiently.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintaining professionalism and empathy during challenging interactions.
