This job is located in Glens Falls, NY

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be an integral part of our dynamic healthcare team, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your expertise in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment planning for individuals with various medical conditions, with a particular emphasis on oncologic cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PET/CT scans including Wholebody FDG PET/CT, Brain PET imaging, limited Cardiac PET, and Neuroendocrin Imaging.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain PET/CT scanners, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Conduct quality control procedures on imaging equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate patient positioning and image acquisition.
• Provide clear and concise explanations to patients regarding the imaging procedure.
• Process and analyze imaging data, and prepare reports for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• ARRT and NMTCB certification.
• Current state license in NY.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Proficiency in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Strong IV starting skills.
• Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
